Abhijeet takes us on a nostalgic trip with promotional post of ‘Baba’
New poster of Sanjay Dutt’s upcoming film ‘Baba’ is released by Abhijeet Khandkekar on Instagram just a day ago with a caption that will remind you of a loving father-son memory.
The actor also posted a still from the film’s behind-the-scene shots with actress Spruha Joshi. The typical 90s look reminds us of old picture picked straight out of our parents' album.
Ever since the release of motion poster of ‘Baba’ and the official trailer launch by Sanjay Dutt, the film has become the talk of the town. Directed by Raj Gupta, this film narrates an interesting story of a speech-impaired boy, living with his parents atop a hill in small village only to discover one day that his real parents are not the same.
Abhijeet Khandkekar is the romantic hero of Marathi TV and film industry, after hits like 'Mi Pan Sachin' (2019) and 'Bhaay' (2018), he will now be seen in 'Baba'. Abhijeet is famous as ‘Gurunath Subhedar’ in every Marathi household because of ‘Majhya Navrya Chi Bayko’. Abhijeet plays Spruha’s husband in the film. Spruha is known for her performance in ‘Home Sweet Home’, ‘Welcome Home’, ‘Lost and Found’ and ‘& Jara Hatke’. In ‘Baba’, her character is intense and has multiple shades to it. It will be interesting to see Abhijeet and Spruha together for the first time on the big screen.
Sanjay Dutt wants to dedicate his first venture in regional films to his father, hence the title ‘Baba’.
